Consultancy Seeks Native English Speaking Student Assistant

Global Advice Network is seeking a native English speaking student assistant for quality assurance and proofreading of country corruption profiles for the Business Anti-Corruption Portal.

Global Advice Network is a private consultancy company specialised in Corporate Integrity (Business Ethics) and offering services in anti-corruption, anti-fraud, sustainability and business development with offices in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Global Advice Network produces, in cooperation with Danida and a number of European governments, the Business Anti-Corruption Portal: www.business-anti-corruption.com. The portal is a tool for small and medium-sized companies that want to invest in developing countries and emerging markets marked by corruption.

Number of Hours/Week: 20

Start Date: Summer 2010 (To Be Determined)

Duties:

  • Quality assuance and proofreading of country profiles for publication on the Business Anti-Corruption Portal
  • Occasional research on country corruption profiles
  • Other office tasks

We Expect:

  • Interest in anti-corruption, particularly the private sector's role
  • Professional written and spoken English is a must
  • Knowledge of other languages is an advantage, such as French or Spanish
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent research abilities and an ability to handle large volumes of information and communicate key information concisely
  • General knowledge of IT (use of online search engines, databases, Microsoft package)
